It has been a long time coming but in about a month and a half my jeep WILL officially be done as I will be trading it in. Hopefully its next owner continues using it in the way that I had intended when I built it. I however have placed an order for a ‘16 Forester XT Premium just like what’s pictured here. It will certainly be a change of pace vs what I’m driving now. I know I will miss my jeep and I fully intend to get another one someday down the line as a fun weekend car.
Make no mistake, this thing will NOT remain stock and I fully intend to build this and make it my own as well. (I have already purchased a few aftermarket components for it a few days before I even placed the order).
I intend to document my mods as they come. In the meantime...I plan to drive the hell out of my jeep for the next 6 weeks.

Good choice. It was a Satin White Pearl 2014 model that made me like the styling of the new XT. I believe the Crystal White Pearl looks even better.
My mother has a 2015 2.5i Limited, has been very happy with it. The interior quality is miles ahead of my 2009 2.5X Limited. I still wish mine was an XT.

Co-worker just leased a Forrester XT after some drugged out blue-hair T-boned his Outback XT.

He should keep the same username because his Jeep is truly neverdone.

Find a used STi transmission. Swap parts, done.
OK, it’s not that easy, but Subaru’s are the easiest for doing those kinds of swaps from what I hear.

Congrats on the new car BTW. I forgot to mention that in my other reply. Will we see it with a full STi swap to the powertrain some day? Or lifted with AT tires?

not within the first three years. I’m starting off leasing (just in case Subaru brings out something more tempting within the next few years....ie forester ts, turbo crosstrek, etc) so it will be mostly cosmetic with a few handling upgrades (sway bars, draw stiffeners, tower brace) but if I choose to buy it out at the end...all bets are off
